PREDICTIONS FOR 04 Apr 2008 10CM FLUX: 075 / AP: 024
PREDICTIONS FOR 05 Apr 2008 10CM FLUX: 074 / AP: 023
PREDICTIONS FOR 06 Apr 2008 10CM FLUX: 073 / AP: 012
COMMENT: The solar activity is quiet and is expected to remain so. The

only sunspot group visible on the disc (Catania number 77, NOAA AR 0988)

is approaching the limb and is unlikely to produce a C-flare. The
interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is increasing; it has already
reached 13 nT. The sector boundary crossing occurred on April 3. These

signatures indicate that the Earth is entering the interaction region
between a slow and a fast solar wind flows. The fast flow is produced by

a low-latitude coronal hole in the southern hemisphere. We expect
disturbed geomagnetic conditions up to the minor storm level.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 008, BASED ON 07 STATIONS.
