COMMENT: At around 21 UT yesterday (Jan 6) the earth entered the high
speed wind stream from the northern coronal hole. This gave rise to a
period of Kp=5, followed by Kp=4. After this geomagnetic conditions
turned to moderately quiet levels. The wind speed is still elevated at

550 km/s. We expect quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions with a
small chance for an active interval for the remainder of the UT-day.
