COMMENT: The space weather conditions are quiet at the moment. >From
ACE-data it became clear that a magnetic cloud passed the L1 point. The

different components of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) varied

only slowly from late Dec 19 until late Dec 20. The shock leading the
interplanetary CME arrived as the speed and total IMF jumped to a little

higher value. The cloud had a speed between 300 and 400 km/s. If we
count back, we can link it with the slow eruption visible in STEREO
A/COR2 data of Dec 15 in the afternoon near the ecliptic.
