COMMENT: Two sunspot groups are currently visible on the solar disc:
Catania numbers 58 (NOAA AR 1120) and 59 (no NOAA number yet). Catania

sunspot group 58 is decaying, and we expect no significant flaring
activity in this group. Catania sunspot group 59 (returning NOAA AR
1112) is coming from behind the east limb. It will probably produce
flaring activity on the C-level in the next 48 hours. An isolated
M-class flare is also possible. The Earth is currently inside a slow
(around 310 km/s) solar wind flow with average (4-5 nT) interplanetary

magnetic field magnitude. We expect quiet geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 012, BASED ON 10 STATIONS.
