COMMENT: Solar activity is low, NOAA AR 1117 has still a large area but
is decreasing in complexity, C-class flares can still be expected from
this region and low chances of M-class flares. There was a CME directed
towards the east and not expected to arrive to the Earth at 12:12 UT on
October 29. Geomagnetic conditions are quiet. ACE is showing some signs
of what could be the arrival of the CME from October 26, predicted to
arrive today to the Earth. There are signatures of a weak shock around
10:00 UT, but the data is not enough yet to tell with certainty. The
geomagnetic consequences should not be strong in any case.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 020, BASED ON 08 STATIONS.
