NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 19 Oct 2010 until 21 Oct
2010
PREDICTIONS FOR 19 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 090 / AP: 011
PREDICTIONS FOR 20 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 090 / AP: 011
PREDICTIONS FOR 21 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 088 / AP: 006
COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be moderate with C flares and a

possible M flare from active region NOAA11112. A long-duration C flare

associated with a filament activation took place in this region
yesterday Oct.18. (see SWAP movie at:
http://proba2.oma.be/swap/data/mpg/movies/20101018_swap_movie.mp4) The

solar wind speed has risen further to 400km/s with a strenghtening of
the magnetic field to 10nT. This will cause unsettled geomagnetic
conditions and possible active intervals over the next 24hours, followed

by a gradual return to quieter conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 048, BASED ON 13 STATIONS.
