NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 15 Oct 2010 until 17 Oct
2010
PREDICTIONS FOR 15 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 080 / AP: 009
PREDICTIONS FOR 16 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 080 / AP: 013
PREDICTIONS FOR 17 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 080 / AP: 004
COMMENT: ACE data show a rather sudden enhancement of the magnetic
field carried in the solar wind. The speed jumped at 03UT from 280 km/s

to 290 km/s. The density increased slightly. This is possibly the
passage through the shock in front of the CME associated with the
filament eruption of late Oct 10. In this case, we expect only a short

period (<24h) of moderate geomagnetic disturbances, depending on the
orientation of Bz. Active periods are sporadically possible.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 027, BASED ON 05 STATIONS.
