COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be low for the next 48 hours. A

filament eruption occurred near the west limb, in the vicinity of NOAA

AR 1100 on Aug. 27th, starting around 09:00 UT. A CME was spotted by the

COR1 Ahead coronagraph. With the current information available, we do
not expect any geomagnetic consequence. Geomagnetic activity is expected

to be mostly quiet for the next 48 hours.
