COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be mostly quiet for the next 48

hours. A B2.1 long duration event occurred on April 17, with a peak time

of 0557UT. Very bright post eruptive arcades can be seen on EIT, rising

above the east limb, around 0914UT. Further sporadic flaring activity
may occur in the following hours. Geomagnetic activity is expected to
reach active to possibly minor storm levels on late April 17 or April 18

due to the CME of April 13. Current conditions are quiet.
