COMMENT: All-quiet conditions are expected to continue over the next
48h. Solar activity will remain at very low levels (no sunspots). The
solar wind speed has decreased further (now 400km/s) and the geomagnetic

field is and will remain quiet until at least March 6. The geomagnetic

activity may rise again in the course of March 6, becoming unsettled to

active, due to a recurrent coronal hole. The latter is now passing the

solar central meridian and has developed a westward extension since the

last solar rotation. Its influence may thus come early compared to the

last pass.
