COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to remain at moderately active
levels with risks of C-class flares from NOAA AR 1040. Geomagnetic
activity is expected to be mostly quiet, with risks of isolated periods

of unsettled conditions within the next 24 hours. The Earth is now
within a fast solar wind stream linked to a coronal hole. Current
readings of the solar wind speed as measured by the ACE spacecraft show

values of about 450 km/s.
