COMMENT: We expect quiet solar conditions for the next 48 hours. A new

active region, NOAA AR 1025 appeared on Aug. 31st approximately at 40E

20N. There is very little chance of any C class flare activity from this

AR during the next 48 hours. Geomagnetic activity is expected to be
mostly quiet for the next 24 hours and but it might reach unsettled to

active levels by September 2nd due to a recurring coronal hole.
