COMMENT: Solar activity remains very low. A slow CME was seen on the
western solar limb on LASCO-C2 data, starting at 21:54 UT on April 7, it
is not expected to be geoeffective. The fast solar wind from the coronal
hole arrived to Earth as expected, Kp reached 4 for one 3h period. The
solar wind speed measured by ACE is 450 km/s at the moment. The
geomagnetic conditions will remain unsettled today and tomorrow, with
possible active periods, and should go back to mostly quiet levels on
April 11.
