COMMENT: The Sun released a CME yesterday March 16, it was first seen
in LASCO-C2 at 10:54UT after a data gap. It was not Earth-directed, it

emerged off the east limb and was probably related to to a weak dimming

starting at 07:56 UT in a spotless active region around N23E40. It
traveled eastward with an estimated median speed of 204 km/s (as
provided by CACTUS). The geomagnetic activity remained quiet. There was

a sector crossing seen by ACE around 10:00UT on March 16, after almost
a
day of missing data. The solar wind speed is around 380 km/s. The
All-Quiet-Alert is maintained.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 04 STATIONS.
