COMMENT: Very low activity levels prevail on the Sun and should stay at
the lowest level. The Earth entered a recurrent fast solar wind stream
late on Jan.25. This is a weak stream (350-400 km/s) but the Bz
component of the interplanetary magnetic field has now turned to -8nT
and the solar wind speed may rise further over the next 24 hours. This
can cause unsettled to active geomagnetic conditions for the next 48
hours, followed by a decline.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 04 STATIONS.
