Solar spots are very important for our HF communication
conditions. Therefore it is interesting to know these values.
Where remains the next sunspot cycle ?
According to the specialists in the Space Weather Prediction
Center, the minimum was predicted for beginning of 2008,
with an increasing number of SSN during 2008 to reach
between 10 and 20 awg at the end of 2008.
However, looking at the measured values and the
predicted values, we note a strong deviation.
It seems that the experts were wrong in their predicitions,
even so we have records of sunspot cycles hundreds
of years back.
Is Science not so clear in this respect ... ?
When may now begin the next cycle ?
