COMMENT: A new sunspot is appearing on the solar southern hemisphere,
but solar activity remains low. The solar wind at the Earth's orbit is
extremely weak, with speeds close to 320 km/s and magnetic field
magnitudes around 3nT. Kp has remained 0 for more than 24 hours. This
situation may change close to the end of this forecasting period with
the arrival of the fast wind from a coronal hole. Although the CH is
located at high northern latitudes, the solar wind speed and magnetic
field magnitude have already increased significantly in STEREO-B data.
Thus, as a precaution the All Quiet Alert is halted.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 008, BASED ON 07 STATIONS.
