COMMENT: Solar activity is quiet and is expected to remain so as there

is no sunspot groups on the solar disc. After a long perturbation in the

slow wind (December 4-5), the Earth is currently inside the fast solar

wind stream from the southern part of the low-latitude coronal hole. The

interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is, however, at an average level

(around 5 nT), so we expect quiet geomagnetic conditions, with isolated

intervals of K = 4 possible but unlikely.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 10 STATIONS.
