PREDICTIONS FOR 27 Oct 2008 10CM FLUX: 067 / AP: 019
PREDICTIONS FOR 28 Oct 2008 10CM FLUX: 066 / AP: 019
COMMENT: No sunspot groups are visible on the solar disk. We thus
expect quiet flaring conditions. An interaction region between a slow
and a faster solar wind flow has arrived to the Earth this morning. The

solar wind speed rose only up to 400 km/s, so no significant geomagnetic

disturbance has resulted. On October 27-28 we expect the arrival of an

even faster flow, produced by a low-latitude coronal hole in the
southern hemisphere. Active geomagnetic conditions up to the minor storm

level can be expected.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 04 STATIONS.
