COMMENT: Solar activity is quiet and is expected to remain so. The
Earth is currently inside the slow solar wind flow with average values

of the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. We thus expect quiet
geomagnetic conditions. However, a slight increase of the solar wind
speed and the IMF magnitude on October 19 together with the passage of

the interplanetary sector boundary on October 17 may indicate a possible

arrival of a fast solar wind stream (with its associated geomagnetic
effects) in the coming days. We thus prefer to deactivate the All Quiet

Alert''.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 14 STATIONS.
