COMMENT: Quiet conditions are expected for both the solar and
geomagnetic activity for the next 48 hours. SOHO/EIT observations
revealed that a filament erupted around 05:00 UT, at nearly 50 degrees
South and 10-30 degrees West. While this might be a concern for future
geomagnetic activity no CME is currently visible in LASCO images at the
time of this report.
