Hi Ian and all,
I take it you uninstalled WizKey? If that's the case and you still get
accented characters using the control key (I don't know exactly how
WizKey works) I suspect the usual has happened. The uninstall doesn't
remove everything so quite often the folder the install created still
exists with leftovers in it, just delete the folder. A registry cleanup
once in a while is helpful, get rid of the leftovers there too.
As for Winpack it would be nice if a kindly software developer would fix
the bugs but sorry, that's not I. There are work-arounds like WizMouse so
since you can't type extended ASCII characters perhaps it's possible to
compose a message using an external editor and stick it in the Winpack
text folder. That's where my ASCII pictures hang out, I just click on the
send button to tag one on.
