I am sorry to report that Art, W4ZEF, became a silent key late last
week. Art had the W4ZEF-7 HF Gateway here in Vero Beach, Florida that
was used by many, especially those of you in the northern United Staes
as well as those of you in Canada. Art will be deeply missed by his peers
both locally and from around the world. Art was a very fine person and
would help and mentor anyone that asked for his help. Obviously the
W4ZEF-7 gateway will be taken off of the air. Art was also President
of the Ft Pierce Amateur Radio Club for a number of years.
Please join me in keeping Art's wife Jen (K4ZEF) and his family in our
thoughts and prayers.
