Hello back Warren, and all reading these postings;

Funny how you , well I guess so, it was your area, not mine so
your big switch then was nothing compared to the latest when
they killed analogue for ditigal, thus kind a few TV's in
our home are useless, and now to forkout cash for converters.

WE had our Big Switch or Swap in the 1960s, when CBC in Toronto
moved a few times, and then moved to allow the new CTV station
in Toronto on-air.

OK so we've dealt with swaps that are meangingless here and there
BUT that switch to analogue certain has folks talking, and in some
cases they get help with the converters ...but not here.

The only channel lost to me is CBC ...big deal. Who cares!

  Well, you can rant all you want. I used to send letters to
the Editor of our local rag, but now I expect no notice and only
wait for a prediction or two to come to realization and smile.

  Bottomline ...MONEY..CASH... and this is why they now are
protecting in every country. Good old capitalism ... gotta
love it.
