Hi Bob and all,
You have quite a line up there and still in the middle of The Digital
Revolution to coin a phrase. One odd question though, are some still
vertically polarized or did they finally figure out horizontal has
greater range?
I missed the OTA switch having been on cable so long, broadcast has
sucked raw eggs for years so I can't give the line up in the New York
market, only that many went UHF digital rather than stick with VHF. Yup,
NJ is cut in half, somewhere south of Toms River begins the Philadelphia
market although the signals refuse to remain in the corral.
As I mentioned before cable around here went digital and opened a can of
worms at the same time but they'll get it sorted eventually. The old song
57 Channels And Nothing On needs revision, more than 257 channels now and
STILL nothing on. Nothing new, before there was cable there was Elvis and
he shot his TV set. "Thank you, thank you very much."
