I liked your bull about the sheer number of channels you can get. In the
past, after changing from SatTV to cable, I did have a choice of 200+
channels at one time but, even so, they were all repeats, almost.

I am quite happy with my Freeview. Before I knock out all the sports
channels, the sales channels and the kiddie channels, I have a total of 75
as well as a lot of radio channels.

I do listen to one of the radio stations from your neck of the woods while
using my browser. It is based in Perth and is a mixture of chat and 60s
70s music with a lot of C&W. I could watch Aussie TV as well if I wanted
but it would be digital anyway so no way to compare.
I suppose it is all a matter of content. I would be quite happy to watch
some of the programmes I remember which are banned now, even in quite low
def: TV, so long as it was in colour.

A question of 'never mind the quality, feel the width' to paraphrase an
old TV series.
All the best, nice to see you.
