Hi Pete and anyone else. I saw your mention of football where you seemed
to mean soccer, the only World Cup I know, not the US kind.

Next weekend, according to our TV the Formula 1 Grand Prix is travelling
to Canada. That is motor racing, the kind invented in Europe not the US. I
wonder if you'll be watching that ?

Someone did refer to it a few years ago as " a travelling traffic jam" he
was right and I sort of lost interest in it especially as Michael
Scumacher seemed to win every one. He has retired since them and come back
for this year as an 'old man' of 41. Whether he will stick with it is
anyones guess. As 7 x World Champion and a multi multi millionaire he has
nothing to prove and no need for the money.

As for Trek which was your topic, I did watch the final two episodes of
Voyager yesterday. It was repeated for years but always ended before they
got home. On a similar topic, I wonder if you can download the 'bleepity -
bleep bleep' sound that Kirk and Co got when they opened their
communicators ? My spare mobile is the clam type and it might be fun to
have it on there, open it, press a button and say "beam me up, Scotty" or
similar......maybe not.

Shatner says he never ever uttered those words, anyway.....

CUL
