Hi Ian and fellow readers.
Follow up to Ian's reference to Radio Caroline.

ARH! Those were the days of the 1960's. Laying on the beach beside
Clacton Pier (Essex Coast, England) with my new 'green' VHF Bush transistor
wireless.

Listening to Radio Caroline and Radio London. Broadcasting from their
respective ships, moored outside the UK three mile limit in the North Sea.

We also took a trip(s) on a boat to visit both of these Ships/Radio Stations
and visit the crew and DJ's.

One of the trips I remember was cold, wet and windy. Getting 'back off the
boat on to the beach in the dark'. Would not have past todays Health and
Safety regulations.

And 208 Luxemburg.. Hours of enjoyment.

Oh! those were the days. SIGH!!
