G'day Pete,
All power lines including the EHT at 22KV have to be underground in all
the new subdvisions which are sprouting up all over this state like
mushrooms. The only power poles to be seen in those places are the street
lights which are on auto switching - when it becomes dark they switch on
automatically. In some remote places street lighting is solar powered and
there are no power lines above or under the ground.
