Hello Bob VK6BE, Ian G0TEZ ,Warren KB2VXA ...as well to any readers
left reading about the HDTV @WW.
I saw the poodle posting, and the reply ...mild stuff
I also saw Bob's posting on his comparison between UK and OZ and
I think it was about the sound, and then Ian G0TEZ came with a book
to support Bob's posting, and well it went from there ... I think
or might be wrong...but then if I read all about it...Bob may have
received the picture and then had to look for the sound. I see that
also on my BUD in the yard.
The last posting, well Bart with his pants down ...mooning Bob.
I felt like posting back , a mutt...maybe Bob's talking dingo giving
Bart a good bite on his bare part...but refrained from it.
I have liked this discussion on HDTV or TV and transmission types
and wondered, since the first TV transmission took place in UK in
1920s or soon after ... what was the system used? I have seen
the spinning disc system, as there was one at the vintage club
I visited once in Toronto....the system was sold to a collector
in the USA...too bad.
No news on my fight with the Hydro Authority over my tower, or their
running it 2ft near my tower. HQ is haveing a look at it again
so we'll see. I need a decison and help from them to safety I feel
get up the tower to remove and replace the TV AE < as Ian calls it>
from the RV to a Deep fringe VHF-UHF yagi <H side> as well get the
crossbar up for the HF...oops another topic.
I can not understand why or how I lost CBC in Toronto...they were
on ch 5 and ch 16 and have disappeared....and yet I get CHCH TV 67
in Hamilton 33miles to the SW....durr !!! Still get CFTO 21 in
Toronto but no 16 .... oh well.
Gotta run ...Maria just radioed me on the CB that she wants me to do
this and that...so gotta jump to it..hahahahahaha
