I don't think the actual antennae concerns the Councils here, it is the
towers and that is often a matter of safety. I had to get a building
permit befre erecting mine but the main concern was nearby power lines at
22KV. Now our power in my street uuis underground so no problem on that
score. TV antennae are the norm here not the unusual and now with FOX and
other satellite TV transmissions dishes are very common.No problem with
the Councils or the next council election could see a few unseated!!!

HOA Nazis are nothing but little bloated stuffed shirts drunk with power
and the only difference with Councilmen is the degree of bloat. That's
where "chain of command" comes in, we take our grievances to a higher
power which when properly approached often trumps the little stuffed
shirts. It's everywhere from the legal system to the political system, if
you don't get satisfaction take it up a notch. That's not to say the
Constitutional right to redress guarantees success, sometimes you reach a
dead end and are stuck with it... oh well.
