Warren you have not lost the art of reading into my posts something that
is not there? You are a master of that!!! Time you came down from the
moon.
I don't recall the exact frequency of the sound IF in the British
transmission but I know that the TV signals we got from Siberia were in
the 6 meg band and ours were 5.25 megs or thereabouts. So we could see the
pictures but could not hear the sound without tuning further up the
band.At that time I believe the British standard was different. What the
current situation is I do not know and I have never claimed to know. Get
it?

Cheers,

If you don't know the UK standard how can you say yours is different?
Never mind, here we go again. When it comes to sat TV it's easy to see
from this perspective why you get Asia and not British TV. Come on up
here to the moon and bring your compass and protractor with you.
