Hi Ian and all,
Actually you agreed with my outline, we both have very similar antenna
situations. You don't say how the sat dish rules came about or who
actually governs but no matter, Ofcom or no it's about the same. Of
course they won't stand by "ham's rights" being we're low man on the
totem pole lacking the massive funds available to broadcasters... money
talks.
HOA Nazis are nothing but little bloated stuffed shirts drunk with power
and the only difference with Councilmen is the degree of bloat. That's
where "chain of command" comes in, we take our grievances to a higher
power which when properly approached often trumps the little stuffed
shirts. It's everywhere from the legal system to the political system, if
you don't get satisfaction take it up a notch. That's not to say the
Constitutional right to redress guarantees success, sometimes you reach a
dead end and are stuck with it... oh well.
