Hi Ian and ... well I am tty'ing with Bob VK6BE on Skype,
so hello Bob too ...and everyone lurking about....

Me either. Not really a TV buff, and all I knew was it was NSTC
or something, on whatever polarization, then things chamged drastic
last month.
WE need John G8MNY to jump in an explai all this, as I have
seen him posting to this and other subjects ...or I will have to
get on JNOS and the bridge and see if he is there.

Ian...bad boy. You must of annoyed them. But then they always
in Parliament here suckup to them and , well to heck with the
citizens of Canada they are elected to represent. Also Big Money
here connected to the USA runs the government....it is called
Capitalism.

Yepper...done the world over. Lots of examples I guess.

maybe , maybe not. Maria gets Brasilian TV and there they broadcast
in PAL. On the International feed, I think it is switched from PAL
to NSTC or whatever it is now ... All the TVs can hook up to the dish
we have and get Global International via the dish...But nothing anymore
on the TV antenna looking for signals in our area... We have lost
them all except on the Plasma HDTV where ..ok they are great...but
like heck I am going to fork out 100 bucs a converter.

Long ago I had a VCR that did all the formats. I still use my
Sony here, and I heard from Brasil they can watch my tapes...via
their PAL system which is strange. Don't send a DVD machine to
family or friends in other countrys....big mistake there too.

Yes ...

On my scan...big things happened on the main blue-tube.
Lost CBC ...no "Hockey Night in CANADA" oh no....what is
a hockey straved brat going to do....hahahaha.

Anytime you want to talk about the shows they are keeping and
the shows they cancel, well my take is ...what they keep is
for fleaminded whimps and some great stuff is being dropped.
