Hi Satellite users,

New Satdoc version 2.8.8

Satdoc, for SATellite DOCumentation, is an application that creates
satellite documentation files that you can access from F6FBB BBS
satellite menu (Menu F, T, C, L successively). When a satellite
doc is present an "*" appears after the satellite entry number.
Example :
( 0 *) AAUSAT2 ( 1 ) AEROCUB3 ( 2 *) AO-07
( 3 *) AO-16 ( 4 *) AO-27 ( 5 *) AO-51
This is only available on F6FBB versions later than 7.04j.

Source for these documentation are ANS and WSR bulletins from
AMSAT and ARRL.

satdoc may be started manually or automatically every night during
BBS maintenance process.

Recently a change was introduced in bulletins BID that
broke satdoc.

The present release will accept either $ANS or $WSR BIDs.

File can be downloaded via http from here :

http://f6bvp.free.fr/logiciels/satdoc/2.8.8/

Dos or Windows SYSOP users will find all files in
satdoc-2.8.8 Windows or DOS directories.
Read the documentation provided.

Linux owners must extract files from archive with command

tar xf satdoc-2.8.8.tar.bz2

This will create a directory named satdoc-2.8.8

cd into that directory.

Type make to compile satdoc utility program.

Move it into /usr/local/sbin

Run satdoc with ans sample file :
 satdoc ans.txt
 or
 satdoc -i ans.txt

SYSOPs should read the documentation to know howto
make satdoc process AMSAT bulletins automatically.
