WINMOR Operating Experience
In comparising Pactor with WINMOR it was concluded
that WINMOR constitutes a fully alternative to Pactor.
The comparison has taken place using the following setup:
- Mobile operation in car
- 1m long antenna (Roomcap)
- Bands: 20 - 40 - 80m
- Transceiver 100W (TS-50)
- in the town
- simple inferface for WINMOR (HB9ABX)
- simple notebook (EasyNote TE)
- SCS Controller for Pactor (PTC IIe with P2/P3)
- all the day 3 to 4 HF accesses to Winlink in seconds
with the difference, that WINMOR is available for free
