The HF-Pactor station DA5UDI near Koblenz/Germany runs "Linux-RMS-Gateway", a
software created by Brian, W3SG and me, DL5DI.
The Winlink-database shows that this software is currently in use at about 70
Packet-Radio-RMS-Gateways worldwide, for Pactor currently only at DA5UDI.
Based on that software DA5UDI can be used for Pactor-RMS and also for
Pactor<->Packet-Radio-Gateway, BBS-store&forward and more.
When connecting to DA5UDI via Pactor the user gets a short prompt saying
"PRESS ENTER FOR MANUAL USE".
After pressing <Enter> at that place (or even before) DA5UDI will send a menu
which offers different services for manual work.
RMS-Software like Airmail and Paclink will just wait a few seconds at that
point, after that the connect to a CMS will start automatically like usual.
There is no need for RMS-users to do anything manual or configure anything
special using DA5UDI.
Let it run like usual, the extra switching process just costs a few seconds
depending on the link speed.

DA5UDI is on air since 2003, the RMS-Gateway since dec2007, unfortunately it
is still today not shown in some lists (I asked for an update several times).
