Hi all,
following other msgs on related matter, and being two or three
(ham) people unaware on NNTP News (from free internet newsgroups)
being forwarded on AX.25 packet radio network, I decided to stop
this (useful) traffic on July 4, 2010.
However as the i0ojj.ampr.org gateway is based on the newest
Jnos 2.0h (now, on great development progress, by Maiko VK4KLM)
I decided to open the NNTP server to everyone would experiment
on this interesting field: the system is open: challenge yourself!

The server may be joined on 'ampr.org' network at i0ojj.ampr.org
[44.134.32.233] by the XNET node COLLE:I0OJ-3 or by means the
NETROM node GWOJJ:I0OJJ-5 (worldwide access).
On the internet at i0ojj.dyndns.org (resolving the dynamic IP).
The number of NNTP port remain the 'standard', 119.

Any client sotfware, on whichever platform may be used to
download the available articles and (also) 'post' yours on the
related newsgroups.

For now, available NNTP areas are:

antenn *Antennas: theory, techniques and construction
dxnews *Discussion, tips, notices and nes for DXers
homebr *Amateur radio construction and experimentation
info *Informational postings related to radio (M)
packet *Packet radio and other digital radio modes
policy *Radio use and regulation policy
space *Amateur radio transmissions through space
uwave *Shortwave radio enthusiast on V/U/SHF matter

73, gus i0ojj
