Hi Misko and all,

as of nowadays the JNOS development is going to version '2.0i'.
I'm testing, from time to time, the latest 'linux' sources downloaded
from the Maiko, VE4KLM 'rsync' site and I'm going on deep to AX.25 PBBS
section which can be improved / debugged, since, until now, exists a real
furher development.

I set up the 'mbox mailfor' on my system: 'mbox mailfor 180' (three min.),
and write a test msg to a user (ik0jka); I found the following string
broadcasted by the 'vhf' interface:
----------
Fri Sep 10 10:04:14 2010 - vhf sent:
KISS: Port 0 Data
AX25: I0OJJ-1->MAIL UI pid=Text
0000 Mail for: ik0jka
-----------
and no one (failure) indication on the 'jnos>' console neither on the
monitor screen.

However, as per my recent experiences, the 'old' JNOSs and so jnos 1.11f,
are affectd, among the others, of *many* timer failures which originate
from 'day 0' of JNOS creation... and NEVER solved/discovered, example,
the big latest one discovered:
"the JNOS timers go to NEGATIVE time after about the 25th day of
continuous operation" ... just solved last days from the *great* Maiko!

Now, if you continue to run such a unmantained (Dec 2000) software you
could experience several failures having no possibility to submit them
to someone for repairing: so switch on to JNOS 2! :))

Hi all,

I noticed that whenever my JNOS v. 1.11f broadcasts 'Mail for:'
messages, there is another message on the main screen:

timer: ints were off!

Although I do not see any problem as a result of that type of
messages, it makes me wonder what it is about.
