Per Sheriff Anderson. EOC planned to be open all of next week.
Three deaths, One injury.
Priorities are to assist with getting to electric power on.
Assist with flagging, damage assessments, helping farm/dairies get back
into production.
12/7/07 @ 0825 Tom (LEM) Will be touring with FEMA today to access damage.
Salmonberry Bridge is damaged and road is not accessible.
The Red Cross is sending a mobile kitchen that can feed 5,000 people. They
will centrally locate in Tillamook so that they can service other counties
as well.
Tom is working on his IDA for the County. Tillamook County emergency
manager advises they are activating their emergency operations center due
to a high wind event.
12/3/07 @ 04:10 Tom (LEM) advises that they have restored power to their
ECC.
The county has serious flooding problems. Power should be restored to
South County by morning, North CO has no estimate for the restoration of
power. They have 50 people that they have had to evacuate from the water.
The county has opened an evacuation center at the county fairgrounds which
is being manned by the Red Cross.
12/3/07 @ 06:24 Tom advises that they are working on a declaration of
emergency and it should be coming through shortly. This is for wind and
flood damage. EDO was paged and advised.
Power is now on for 90% of the county. Crews are working in rural areas.
Emergency centers open in Garibaldi, Tillamook and Wheeler.
Tom Manning is on a damage assessment.
Water conservation in effect in Rockway and Netarts.
