I have been using linux soundmodem to play packet recently, but I
just became aware of another piece of soundmodem software
called "Dire Wolf" (Decoded Information from Radio Emissions).
The source for this software is available for download and can
be built on Linux. Has anyone tried this Dire Wolf soundmodem?
It seems from browsing the documentation that it doesn't support
multi- channel encoders/decoders like Thomas Sailer's soundmodem, but
I'm interested if anyone has compared the performance of the
two soundmodem packages.
