Hi Rod,

John KR0L in Kansas here. Just got set up with bulletin feeds
into my system, and this is my very first bulletin going out to WW,
so reports on how it works appreciated.

Anyhow, I can think of a couple of answers for you.

Answer #1 is to simply run multiple instances of ax25ipd. This may
or may not be what you want.

Answer #2 is to use your firewall to forward multiple incoming ports off
to the same place on the system.

Answer #3 (argh, can't go back and edit where I said "couple"; what
are Linux people using to compose messages?) is to use iptables on the
local machine. Google "iptables port forwarding" should be instructive.

Now, there is a benefit to #1 that isn't shared by #2 and #3: on packets
you send out, your source port number will be correct. #2 and #3 it won't.
This will probably not matter if you have control over your own firewall,
but it could if you're behind NAT, and may possibly if the other end is
behind NAT.

Hope that helps,
John
