Hi
I've taken the risk - overnight I ran the distro upgrade to get my PC to be on the latest Ubuntu.
The PC was originally 8.1 then upgraded (not re-installed) to 9.1 then upgraded again to 10.04 It worried me that Ian's XARPM packet BBS client would not work, but success - it still does and this is going out from it.
The PC is a Compaq desktop P4 of sorts and XARPM plus v1.3.0
