Hi to all,
being engaged to install the newest Debian 5.0.3 release I noticed
that its kernel is compiled without the tty(xy)/pty(xy) devices
which are needed by our AX25 applications.
The news offered by the Web about the booting parameters to pass
to the kernel for creating such devices are wrong and create nothing.
Other tentatives gave no success, so I decided to ask this help.
What are the boot parameters (if any) to pass to the 'grub' for
populate the /dev directory with ttys/ptys devices?
Thanks for your collaboration!
