Hi All,
I am still having a problem with the housekeep in my
Linux FBB BBS.
To explain a little, I have the following files in the
/usr/lib/fbb/tool directory.
clr_user
epurmess
epurwp
maintinf
satupdat
In /usr/lib/fbb/script/maintenance I have these scripts.
20_epurmess
20_epursat
20_epurwp
50_7pfbb
60_satupdat
maintinf
statis
Now my problem is this, when the BBS does the housekeep,
it processes the White Pages all ok as I would expect,
the mail is also processed and new files are created,
dirmess.new and dirmess.bak, the dirmess.new file is smaller
than the dirmess.sys and should be copied to replace the existing
dirmess with the new file, this is not happening.
The same applies with the inf.sys, a new one inf.new is created
but not copied to replace the existing inf.sys, this tells me
that maintinf is running ok but not finishing the job is should
be doing.
The statis file appears to do nothing at all as there is no
executable file in /tools.
Am I missing some scripts or what scripts should exist to manage
the *.new files being created ?
Hope someone can help.
Regards ..... Peter
