Hi Greg
Nice feedback.
I started off with a KW2000B VFO4B and Extension Speaker and an EXzee match ATU
back in 1971. Added the KW1000 Amplifier in January 1973.. when Solar
conditions were very poor, and not able to work the VK's Long path in the
morning with our local Radio Amateur friends. Mostly SK now..
All items were purchased in person from KW Electronics in Dartford. My father drove me
over there.
The KW1000 is still running today. Though the eZee match has been sitting on
the end of the bench unused for the 32+ years.
I even built the nixie tube 'digital display' for the KW2000B from a RadCom article
using veroboard to wire up the components and the 74### logic. Fun Days...
The KW2000B VFO4B and Speaker went off to another Club Member's home... Now an SK.
Thanks for the memories (sigh!)
