Hi all and everyone else ...

Absolutely !!!
(Warren STOP hiding your inner hidden talents from the rest of us) !
A piece of carpet under the cab, works well as opposed to the cab flat on
a cement or Parquet floor.
My common sense (the little I have), tells me that they raise the speakers
so the people at the back can hear the contents. The front people hear the
sound fine but they block the sound, and goes no further - stops right
there. That's if the "stage is at the same level as the "dance floor", or
seats (if in concert). Most stages I know, are raised - understandably so.

Somehow, (as strange as this may seem), Bass sounds great and at it's
best, with the cab on the floor.
Our band practice room is in the "basement" of my QTH, and boy does the
bass sound, great here ! (I wonder where it got it's name from - a muso
perhaps) ?

Basement for bass, money for nothing and chicks are free - hey, I'm on a
role here !

Hey fellas - my stomach is rumbling and it ain't because I'm feeling the
low frequency tones on my bass guitar - I'm hungry, and I'm outa here !

Cheers
