About ten years ago the radio station (Tank FM) bought some second hand
sound equipment. There is a pair of humongous speaker boxes, each fitted
with two, 15" speakers. The mid and high ranges are handled by separate
Electro Voice speakers. Thos 15" woofers really shift some air.

In the auditorium of our local Returned Servicemens' Club is a pair of wall
mounted speaker boxes that are the big brother of the one's the radio
station owns. They're fitted with two, 18" woofers. They must have used a
crane to lift them into position berfore the roof went on. Like, a team of
wharf labourers couldn't have lifted them into position. I could give them
a good home at my place:-)
