Bryan, you are right. The cemetery is there but the detail is missing; the
only thing I can recognize is a building which must be the
crematorium..There are lines which must be the gravestones, some of which
are set in long lines of concrete just wide enough to hold the gravestones
but they are not recognizable as such.I am not sure what I was looking at
yesterday but obviously no pictures of 40 years ago could be used by
Google as such would not exist.

However it is certain that the picture of some parts of Albany are two
years old at least, and so this part of the world has not been updated.

In spite of the few peculiarites of the program it certainly is
fascinating to be able to look at places and see familiar sites. It is a
pity some of the pictures are out of focus when a close up is tried.

Someone mentioned in an earlier bulletin a fuzzy patch in the north side
of Albany. That is the TAFE College with the North Albany Senior High
School next door and a tree plantation over the road (Manson Road, off
Albany Highway).I don't know why that patch is so unfocussed and fuzzy as
to be unrecognizable.
Cheers,

Bob VK6BE.
