Hi Bob and Googlers,

There's nothing strange about it, what you're looking at is a composite
image. If you zoom in to max you get an error which more or less reveals
the size of each individual image. At some levels you can clearly see
false coloring where the actual image is missing and the blank was filled
in by the computer with something that makes sense to your eyes so you
see a complete image without holes.

Composite imaging is used all the time especially in weather radar, I'm
surprised you haven't noticed that what you're looking at isn't a radar
image at all but one generated by computer based on radar data. Google
imaging is more human than you think, when the eyes see confusion the
brain tries to make sense out of it and usually succeeds in filling in
the blanks but when it fails the result is an optical illusion. To avoid
illusions the computer generates an image your brain can make sense out
of even if it's not entirely accurate since it can only take a guess at
the missing information based on the information it has.

Oh, the brain plays tricks with the ears too and that's how Bose gets
away with pushing a 16' diapason out of a 4" speaker. All you hear are
the higher order harmonics and your brain takes it's best guess what the
note actually sounds like.

Now stop nit picking Google all apart, it has more than it's share of
problems trying to make sense out of YOU.

"Please see if you can refrain from silly comments at my expense, Warren."

How could you ever DREAM that was possible?
